A Shout out to Hector

Hector directing traffic at the local high school

We pay a lot of taxes in the great Nation of California - sales tax, property tax, income tax, gas tax, sunshine taxes, etc.  For our immense tax burden we get NO school buses.  Yes, no school buses for elementary school, no school buses for high school, and some consolation buses for middle school (that we have to pay for ourselves).

So, I would like to take this opportunity to give a shout out to Hector, the unsung hero of my son Samuel's high school, who directs all the car traffic due to lack of school buses.  He is there every morning and afternoon, keeping us parents sane and our kids safe.  Thank you Hector. You're a good guy.
