Yelm chillin'

Lounging, Yelm
Take an immense tree, an acre of grass, plenty of lawn chairs, cooled beverages, and family, and you have a perfect antidote to a heat wave in the Seattle area.  This week I went to visit my brother and sister-in-law's spread in Yelm.  They have room for horses, ponds, and gardens here, with plenty of open space left over.  We came to visit and have dinner, which include fresh garden veggies and a blueberry crumble to die for (blueberries picked fresh).  And after a visit to the ponds full of stickleback fish and the garden (the deer got the lettuce), we did some go-carting in the corrall and ate some dust.  A great visit.

Gathered around the table for homegrown fare.
